Design Office are proud to support local charities, through direct fundraising events, sponsorship and by providing artwork and printing solutions for charity functions. In September 2012, Design Office even won a Business Award for Contribution to the Community, awarded by the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce and Community.

One of Design Office’s most recent charitable ventures involved working alongside Graham Witter, a student at MMU, who volunteers for a very worthwhile charity – The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice. The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice provides care for young people with serious, complex and life-limiting conditions as well as practical and emotional support for their families.

Graham kindly shared his story with us, explaining that he has chosen to volunteer for The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice because they personally help him and his family in the form of offering respite care for his younger sister, who is in need of 24 hour care.

Graham lives on a farm in Weston and always puts lights up at Christmas, however two years ago he decided to open the farm to the public in return for donations for the charity so close to his family. In 2013 he managed to raise £1000, while in 2014 he saw that figure soar to £5,720. This year Graham is looking to beat that figure again and when he approached Design Office for a helping hand of course we jumped at the chance!

Design Office are proud sponsors of this year’s event offering help in the form of complimentary artwork to help Graham promote his annual light display. Our highly creative team were able to develop festive artwork for a range of full colour Leaflets, quality Posters and durable PVC Banners guaranteed to create that extra buzz that Graham is looking for for his event this year.
