High Quality Sign Printing:
At Design Office we offer all types of sign printing the most common are usually made from Dibond, Foamex, Acrylic or Correx. All are cost effective materials and can be used for various uses from Plaques to Health and Safety Signs and from Hoarding to Temporary Information Boards.
Printed inside our production facility based in Crewe, Cheshire, all signs are produced using the best quality materials to ensure the perfect finish. When printing signs we employ the latest large format print technology to ensure colour consistency and quality. Once printed our team will apply a protective lamination film, either in a matt or gloss finish. Lamination will protect the print, add extra longevity and allow for cleaning, we always recommend opting for lamination with any sign print.
On a daily basis we deal with varied print runs and are happy to produce single jobs or any given quantity. If you don’t have artwork for your sign then why not work with our in house creative design team to bring your ideas to life. Below is a description of the four most common materials that we use for sign printing:
Acrylic:
Normally supplied clear, Acrylic is available in a range of thicknesses from 3mm all the way up to 20mm. With its sleek appearance, Acrylic is perfect for: Plaques fitted onto raised studs, Door Signs and Poster Holders. If you are looking for a modern, professional appearance then Acrylic is perfect.
Foamex:
Available in a range of colours, Foamex is a highly versatile material, available normally in 3mm, 5mm and 10mm thicknesses. Foamex is great for large print run jobs as its very cost effective yet still looks great! Possible uses for Foamex are: Health and Safety Signage, Short Term Event Boards and Internal Wall Displays.
Dibond:
Dibond also comes in a range of colours and thicknesses like foamex, however the most common thickness is 3mm. Dibond is the perfect sign material as its light weight, durable and cost effective. Like foamex, a vinyl print is applied to the face of the board and can also be used double sided if required. The most common uses for Dibond are: Main Building Signage, Post Mounted Sign Panels and Long Lasting Adverting Boards.
Correx:
The cheapest material for sign printing and suitable for a whole range of uses, Correx is ideal for short term advertising and temporary signage. Available in a range of thicknesses and colours Correx is perfect for Estate Agency Boards and Point Of Sale Advertising.
Although above are the main materials that we use for Printed Boards, we also produce signs in the following materials: Hoarding, Perspex, Brushed Aluminium and Wood.
